Setting Up Warehouses & Bins
Evrykit tracks stock balances per product per warehouse. Each warehouse can optionally have bin locations for detailed bin-level tracking.
Creating a Warehouse
Go to Inventory → Warehouses → New.

⚡ Only one warehouse can be the default. The default warehouse is used automatically for POS stock deductions and for the opening stock import.
Bin Locations
Bins are sub-locations within a warehouse (e.g. Shelf A1, Cold Store, Rack 3-B).
To add bins:
- Open the warehouse
- Click Bins tab
- Add bins with a code and optional description
When recording stock movements, you can specify the bin for precise tracking.
Stock Balances
Each product has a separate Stock Balance record per warehouse, showing:
- Quantity On Hand — current physical quantity
- Average Cost — weighted average purchase cost
- Last Movement Date — when stock last changed
View stock levels at Inventory → Stock On Hand (filterable by warehouse).
Multi-Warehouse Selling (POS)
The POS terminal checks total stock across all warehouses before allowing a sale. Stock is deducted from the warehouse that holds sufficient quantity, preferring the default warehouse.
